This Ain't Starbucks!!! Coffee bill from 1774

Did you know that the coffee percolator was invented in 1827? Is my perk pot period????

Coffee and I are like Mickey and Minnie. Good coffee tastes so wonderful. I was researching online 18th century drinks and found some very interesting sites from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation about the evolution and role of coffeehouses in England and in Colonial America. They also had a visual collection of 18th century chocolate and coffee pots- oh wow!!!
